Israel is suspending cooperation with the UN's cultural arm UNESCO in a dispute over one of Islam and Judaism's holiest sites.
The hilltop compound in Jerusalem is known as the Noble Sanctuary, or Al-Haram Al-Sharif by Muslims, and Temple Mount by Jews.
But a draft UNESCO resolution sponsored by several Arab countries uses only the Islamic name, a decision Israel says denies the strong Jewish connections to the site.
