BREAKING NEWS: Fitch Affirms U.S. Credit Rating at ‘AAA’; Outlook Negative

Fitch Ratings affirmed the United States credit rating at "AAA," the highest possible level. However, the ratings company said its outlook remains negative as a result of "risks associated with the lack of broad public and political agreement" on cutting the budget deficit.
